I've been trying to figure out how to express my feelings about how Kansas City has approached the idea of building a new baseball stadium downtown.

Whether it is renovation or a downtown stadium is not the main question , imho.
The question is who will pay for it?
I think that for either option the users (fans) should bear the cost through higher ticket prices. It should not be subsidized by the taxpayers.
